Justin Frankel, главният програмист на WinAmp, в тази нова алфа версия са направени "страхотни неща". Дали!? :) Новостите:
- The playlist editor and media library are pretty functional at this point. Try them out. Hit the "PL" and "ML" buttons on the main skin to get them to come up. Then click the "add music to db" button on the media library. After you add some music, you can drag-and-drop it onto the main player or onto the playlist editor.
- You should be able to drag-and-drop files from Windows explorer windows onto the playlist editor or the main player piece.
- The winamp logo in the lower right will bring up the Thinger(tm), which will allow you to launch your components.
- Right clicking on the player piece will bring up a menu with some more options.
- The shuffle and repeat buttons should work. Also crossfading.
- You can undock any docked window (including the main player) by holding down either SHIFT key while dragging it.
- If you hold down the CONTROL and ALT keys while moving a window, every window will move along with it. Here's some info on what Winamp actual does; Nullsoft Winamp is a fast, flexible, high-fidelity music player for Windows. Winamp supports MP3, CD, Audiosoft, Audio Explosion, MOD, WAV and other audio formats, custom appearances called skins, plus audio visualization and audio effect plug-ins. Version 3 includes many additional features including free-form skins, a new decoder, built-in cross fade, and an advanced Media Library.
А сега нека да видим какво става с буболечките. Приблизителен превод:
- Тази версия изисква MMX поддръжка от вашия процесор. На PC-та без MMX ще забива :) Следващата алфа пак ще бачка без MMX.
- Старите скинове няма да работят докато не се рекомпилират с новият скрипт компилатор. Съжаляваме. :( Новият компилатор е в winamp3 директорията и се нарича mc.exe.
- Все още не можете да настройвате нищичко.
- Ако няма валиден файл в плейлиста при натискане на play всички файлове ще се въртят безсмислено без да става нищо...
- Тази версия поддържа само MP3 и WAV файлове. Това е. :)
- Също така, MetadataDB се записва при излизане от програмата. Ако забие, промените няма да бъдат записани... хехе.
